CAS Engineering Laboratory for Nutrition
The CAS Engineering Laboratory for Nutrition is an important platform for the applied basic research work of the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health (SINH), CAS. It aims to promote a mutual interaction between basic research and applied basic research, focusing on industry tracks, such as Functional Foods, Food Safety, Skin Health, and AI and Digital Health. It provides high-quality scientific and technological support for the nutrition and health industry. Currently, it has established long-term strategic cooperation with leading enterprises.
Shanghai Information Center for Life Sciences
The Shanghai Information Center for Life Sciences serves as a life science think tank providing support to the national and local governments, academic and industrial communities as well as promoting public understanding of science in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology and the health industry. The Center offers services such as strategic decision support, frontier tracking, technology foresight, technology R&D and transfer, and scientific evaluation, etc. In addition, the Center promotes open cooperation with other high-level R&D think tanks for the benefit of society.
Bio-Med Big Data Center(https://www.biosino.org)
Bio-Med Big Data Center, affiliated with Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, CAS, is committed 1) to provide full-cycle big data services, including data collection and sharing, data management and analysis, to biomedical researches in CAS, Shanghai and across nation; 2) to build technical framework of data security, integration, sharing and mining, to expedite collaborative network for biomedical data resources; 3) to bolster national biomedical big data system, facilitating the paradigm shift for data-rich discovery in life sciences, accelerating the inter-disciplinary fusion between biology, medicine, mathematics, and information technology and increasing nation's "converge research" capacity.
